It's official! The construction of the Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre at the Alfred Hospital has finally reached the top floor and the Health Minister joined us to celebrate.

In front of an olive tree, symbolising peace and hope, the Health Minister and Paula (Lindsay) Fox, the philanthropist who donated $100 million to the project, cut the ribbon to mark the milestone. After more than a year of construction, they spoke with Channel Nine News about the opening soon to come in 2024.

I was there to photograph these two wonderful women and their entourage as they toured the site of the future world-class facility for skin cancer care and research. It was an honour to photograph this historic moment, and I can't wait to see the finished centre next year.
